DAMPA EXPRESS

Dampa is a Filipino word which basically means a “hut”.  More of a nipa hut, to be exact.  But if we use the term Dampa in conjunction with fresh seafood, it connotes a central seafood market and row of restaurants that cook fresh seafood according to the wishes of the guests.

In 2017, a couple of entrepreneurs conceptualized a business model that was designed to bring the Dampa seafood experience to communities nationwide on a smaller scale but much wider reach.

The trimmed-down business replica enabled the owners to build branches even in small commercial spaces, providing a more affordable alternative with faster service to customers. This would make the Company one of the largest “seafood”-based restaurant chains in the Philippines.
